The track is only about 93 kilometers from Rawalpindi and 33 kilometers from Murree, making it conveniently accessible for a one-day trip. The straightforward, short hike normally lasts 40–50 minutes, allowing you plenty of time to enjoy the views and fresh mountain air.
Whether you visit in summer, when the cool mountain air offers relief from the heat of the plains, or in winter, when the snow creates a magical atmosphere, the Dunga Gali Pipeline Track is always a rewarding experience. In peak winter, the trail is sometimes closed because of heavy snow.
